چکیده

The lymphatic system plays critical roles in tissue fluid homeostasis and immunity has been implicated the development of many different pathologies, ranging from lymphedema, spread cancer to chronic inflammation. In this review, we first summarize state-of-the-art imaging clinic advantages disadvantages these existing techniques. We then detail recent progress on technology, including advancements tracer design injection methods, that have allowed visualization vessels with excellent spatial temporal resolution preclinical models. Finally, describe approaches quantifying function are being developed discuss some emerging topics for clinic. Continued technology will be optimization diagnostic methods disorders evaluation novel therapies targeting system.
